Frequently asked questions
- How accurate are Gustia’s dish predictions?
- Gustia uses AI to predict whether a dish matches your preferences. Predictions are not 100% accurate — always verify with restaurant staff for allergy or medical concerns.
- How do I add dislikes or restricted ingredients?
- Open the app, tap the settings gear, and select Preferences. Use the Dislikes section to mark ingredients you want to avoid, and the Restrictions section to flag allergens or ingredients you cannot eat. Restricted ingredients block matching dishes entirely; dislikes lower their score.
- How do I update my dietary preferences?
- Open the app, tap the settings gear, and select Preferences. You can re-run calibration at any time to refresh your profile.
- How do I delete my account or export my data?
- Visit /delete-account to remove your account, or /data-export to download a copy of your data. Both options are also available inside the app under Settings → Privacy.
- Which restaurants are supported?
- Gustia currently focuses on Asheville, NC. We are gradually expanding — email us if you would like Gustia in your city.
- I found a bug or have feedback. How do I report it?
- Email support@gustia.app with a short description and, if possible, a screenshot. Including your device, OS version, and app version helps us reproduce the issue.
