Delete your Gustia account

You can delete your Gustia account and associated personal data at any time. Deletion is reversible for 30 days — sign back in during that window to cancel.

I have the Gustia app installed

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app:

  1. Open the Gustia app on your phone
  2. Tap the settings gear in the top-right corner
  3. Select Privacy
  4. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete My Account
  5. Type DELETE to confirm and tap the delete button

Your account is disabled immediately and you are signed out. After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted. To cancel during that window, sign back into the app and tap Cancel Deletion.

I no longer have the app

If you have uninstalled Gustia or cannot access the app, email our privacy team and we will process your deletion request manually.

What gets deleted (after the 30-day grace period)

  • Your account and login
  • Your dietary profile and calibration data
  • Your in-app saved items, dish reactions, and preferences
  • Your personal analytics identifiers in Firebase and Sentry

What we do not delete: menu photos already in our restaurant menu database (not linked to you), aggregated anonymized usage statistics, anonymized proof-of-consent records (GDPR Article 7(1)), and data we are legally required to keep.
