Export your Gustia data
You can download a machine-readable copy of your dietary profile, preferences, and in-app activity at any time (GDPR Article 15).
I have the Gustia app installed
The fastest way to export your data is directly from the app:
- Open the Gustia app on your phone
- Tap the settings gear in the top-right corner
- Select Privacy
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Export My Data
- Choose where to save or share the generated JSON file
The file includes your profile, calibration results, dish reactions, preference scores, scan history, and consent records. Photos are referenced by URL rather than bundled into the file.
I no longer have the app
If you have uninstalled Gustia or cannot access the app, email our privacy team and we will prepare the export manually.

What is included in the export
- Your account profile (email, display name, consent settings)
- Calibration chip selections and dish reactions
- Preference scores, exceptions, and contradictions
- Ingredient and preparation preferences
- Menu scan history (photo URLs only — binary images are not bundled)
- Menu item scores you have generated
- Push notification tokens and delivery history
What is not included: aggregated or anonymized analytics, restaurant menu content (not personal to you), and data that cannot be reliably linked to your account.
